Diani Beach, Kwale County
Six ways to get out on the Indian Ocean
From early-morning dolphin trips to a quick jet ski ride, our crews know this stretch of coast well. Small groups, experienced guides, and most trips depart right from Diani Beach.
Local crews, small groups, honest weather calls
We're based right on Diani Beach, not booked through a call centre elsewhere. Every excursion on this site is run by the same crews we'd put our own families on: boats that are well maintained, captains who know the channel by feel, and a policy of rescheduling rather than pushing a trip out in bad weather.
Licensed & insured boats
Every vessel is registered with the Kenya Maritime Authority and carries full safety equipment.
Small group sizes
We cap numbers per boat so the wildlife isn't crowded and you're not queuing for a mask.
Free hotel transfers
Pick-up and drop-off along Diani Beach Road is included with every excursion.

A few notes from people who've been out with us this season.
“We spotted a big pod of dolphins from the sailboat, then snorkelled over the reef before a seafood lunch on Wasini Island - genuinely one of the best days of our whole trip.”
Anke V. · Wasini Island Day Trip
“The sandbank on the canoe trip felt like our own private beach, and the reef there was in better condition than anywhere else we snorkelled in Diani.”
Brian O. · Romantic Canoe Boat Trip
“Landed a sailfish on the eight-hour trip and the crew handled everything - tagging, photos, all of it.”
Marco T. · Wild Fishing in Diani
“Did a 30-minute jet ski ride right after checking in - the guide took us out through the reef channel and then let us open up along the coast. Perfect way to start the holiday.”

Good to know before you book
The questions we're asked most often. Anything else, just get in touch.
How far in advance should I book a safari?
For most excursions, 2-3 days' notice is enough. Wild Fishing in Diani is the exception - boats take a maximum of 4-6 anglers, so those trips fill up faster. If your dates are fixed, it's worth booking as soon as you land.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Guest safety comes first. If our boat crews judge conditions unsafe, we will reschedule your trip at no extra cost or refund it in full - your choice.
Do you offer hotel pick-up along Diani Beach?
Yes, pick-up and drop-off is included on every excursion on this site. Guests staying on the north coast are generally collected earlier than those on the south coast, since the drive to our departure points is longer - we'll confirm your exact pick-up time when you book.
Are the excursions suitable for children?
The Glass-Bottom Boat Trip and Wasini Island Day Trip are family-friendly for most ages. Wild Fishing in Diani involves a longer day on open water and is better suited to confident swimmers aged around 10 and up. For the Jet Ski Safari, riders driving solo are usually expected to be at least 16, though younger children can ride as a passenger with an adult.
Do I need to know how to swim?
For our snorkeling-based trips, basic swimming confidence in open water is recommended, though life jackets are provided throughout. Non-swimmers are welcome on the Glass-Bottom Boat Trip in particular, since you can see the reef through the glass panel without getting in the water.
